For sometime now we have been talking about ways of addressing the current situation in Kampuchea, which we all fear could precipitate the return of the Khmer Rouge. As a result of our recent discussion, Oxfam America has joined with the Dith Pran, whose life was portrayed in the motion picture, the Killing Field, in putting together an event disigned to focus national attention on the danger of the KR and the need for humanitarian assistance to the people of Kampuchea.
