In a taped interview conducted just after his one hour meeting with Mrs. Thatcher, Sihanouk said that the Khmer Rouge must be include in a government of national reconciliation. He said Mrs. Thatcher spoke to him about the positive outlook presented by the Sino-Soviet talks and summit and also of her view that the UN security council should be able to assist him in finding a settlement.
