Over the past year, Peking has increased its supply of weapons and money to the Polpotist bandits to oppose the Kampuchean people. At present, in face of the strong protest from ever broader sections of public opinion in the world which insist on the elimination of the genocidal Khmer Rouge ringleaders, China has sought to support the Polpotists and create obstacles to the search for national reconciliation in Kampuchea.
