The Vietnamese troops convoy withdrawing from, Sisophan in north-west Cambodia had stopped in the town's main street, waiting for a party of western journalists. As soon as the press bus arrived, the troops started waving enthusiastically to the townspeople, and the convoy off in a cloud of dust.
