Prime Minister Chatichai Choonhavan defended his Kampuchean peace initiative yesterday, saying Asean leaders had endorsed Phnom Penh Premier Hun Sen's unofficial visit to Thailand. Rejecting reports that Asean leader felt the Hun Sen visit would jeopardize progress in the Kampuchean peace process, a visibly irritated Gen Chatichai said : I want to know whether the criticism comes from Thais.
