Liv Bonthat, male, disappeared. Interviewed with his 77-year-old father, Liv Nai and his mother was Neang. Bonthat has 9 siblings. Bonthat was born Koh Ta Ngao village, So Korng sub-district, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Bonthat studied until grade 9 [in the old system] in Wat Koh primary school. It was in 1970 that Bonthat stopped studying because there was a coup. In that time, there was a demonstration. After leaving school, Bonthat helped his parents tend cows. In 1973, Bonthat ran into the forest and volunteered to be the KR soldiers because he loved the Khmer Rouge Ideology and there were Lon Nol bombardments, destroying people's houses. Unfortunately, Bonthat's uncle died. In addition, his village was near to the liberated zones. That's why it's also difficult to survive even people didn't run into the forest; thus, Bonthat together with his friends in the village decided to go into the forest because their parents didn't want them to carry guns because of being afraid of the death. A place where he first ran into was in Kang Meas district. Bonthat visited home three times. It was in 1975 that Bonthat never came home, and he has been disappeared until now. In 1979, it's heard from Try who has been luckily survived and returned his home village that he worked with Bonthat during the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979. Bonthat was then assigned to work in Kampong Chhnang Airport where the most serious tempered place was. Some people were captured and killed there. His father, Nai, during the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979, was designated by Angkar to plant vegetables and cook sugar palm juice, but there wasn't enough food to eat. His son was a teach during Lon Nol regime, but was killed in Ta Ngoh pagoda; especially, when the cadres coming from the south-west controlled the village, more and more people were killed even the commune chief, who was the Khmer Rouge cadre like them, was also killed.
លីវ បុនថា ភេទប្រុស បាត់ខ្លួន ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ លីវ ណៃ អាយុ៧៧ឆ្នាំត្រូវជាឪពុក ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ នាង មានបងប្អូន៩នាក់។ បុន ថាន មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅភូមិកោះតាង៉ោទី១ ឃុំសូរគង ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ កាលពីតូច បុនថាន រៀននៅសាលាបឋមសិក្សាវត្ដកោះតាង៉ោត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី៩ចាស់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ ឈប់រៀនដោយសារកើតមានរដ្ឋប្រហារ កាលនោះ មានបាតុកម្មផង ពេលឈប់រៀនមកជួយឃ្វាលគោ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចូលពៃ្រធ្វើជាយោធាខែ្មរក្រហម ដោយសារស្រឡាញ់មនោគមវិជ្ជារបស់ខែ្មរក្រហម ណាមួយនៅ មានយន្ដហោះទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកពីខាងទាហាន លន់ នល់ ត្រូវអ៊ំបង្កើត ឈ្មោះ ម៉ិច ស្លាប់ និងមានឆេះផ្ទះសំបែងទៀត ណាមួយនៅក្នុងភូមិឃុំនេះឋិតនៅក្នុងតំបន់រំដោះ ដូចនេះយុវជន ដែលពេលវ័យមិនចង់ចូលពៃ្រក៏ពិបាករស់នៅក្នុងភូមិដែរ គ្មានឪពុក ម្ដាយណាចង់ឱ្យកូនទៅកាន់កាំភ្លើងទេ ព្រោះខ្លាចស្លាប់។ បុនថាន ចូលពៃ្រដំបូងនៅក្នុងតំបន់ស្រុកកងមាស ធ្លាប់មកលេងផ្ទះ ពីបីដងដែរ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ មិនដែលឃើញត្រឡប់មកលេងផ្ទះ ទេ បាត់ដំណឹងរហូត។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ដឹងណឹងតាមរយៈឈ្មោះ ទ្រី ដែលមានសំណាងរស់រានមានជីវិតបានមកស្រុកកំណើតវិញ ហើយបាននិយាយប្រាប់ថា ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមធ្លាប់ធ្វើការជាមួយ បុនថាន ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ដល់៧៩ អង្គការចាត់តាំងឱ្យទៅធ្វើការ នៅព្រលាន យន្ដហោះខេត្ដកំពង់ឆ្នាំង ជាកនែ្លងលត់ដុំយ៉ាងធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ មានអ្នកខ្លះត្រូវអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួនយកទៅវាយចោលទៀត។ រីឯ ណៃ ត្រូវជាឪពុក ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ដល់៧៩ អង្គការចាត់តាំងឱ្យដាំបនែ្លនិងរម្ងាស់ស្ការ ហើយការហូបចុកមិនបាន គ្រប់គ្រាន់ ហើយកូនធ្លាប់ធ្វើជាគ្រូបង្រៀនជំនាន់ លន់ នល់ ត្រូវអង្គការចាប់យកទៅសម្លាប់ចោលនៅវត្ដកោះតាង៉ោ ជាពិសេស នៅពេលកម្មាភិបាលមកពីភូមិភាគនិរតីចូលមកគ្រប់ គ្រងប្រជាជនស្លាប់កាន់តែច្រើន សូម្បីតែប្រធានភូមិ ប្រធានឃុំ ដែលជាកម្មាភិបាលខែ្មរក្រហមដូចគ្នាក៏ត្រូវស្លាប់ដែរ។
