The radio station calling itself the voice of the Khmer, in its report of Sihanouk new conferences (in Cambodia, 1100 gmt 27 Nov 1989) noted that Sihanouk and that China "agreed in principle that any Cambodian personalities proposed by any party to take part in the interim quadripartite Cambodian government should not be included in that coalition government should there be opposition from any other parties ". Accerding to the report Sihanouk "added that through the implementation of these measures, such Khmer Rouge chieftains as Pol Pot, Ieng Sary Ta Mok would not be able to join the interim quardripartite Cambodian government.
