Thiem Saran aka Kim, Chief of Political Battalion, State Warehouse at Kilometer 6, conceded that Samean and 4 others network worked as spies of captain Chham in order to spy on the Khmer Rouge. After the coup, Samean continued working as a spy and hid in the revolutionary line in 1971, under the control of captain Chham. Samean's practical activity within the revolutionary was not clearly informed.
ឈ្មោះ ធៀម សារ៉ន ហៅ គីម ប្រធាននយោបាយអនុសេនាតូច ឃ្លាំងរដ្ឋគីឡូម៉ែត្រលេខ៦ បានឆ្លើយអំពីឈ្មោះ សាមាន និងបក្ខពួក ៤នាក់ទៀត បានធ្វើគិញឱ្យសក្ដិ៣ប៉ូលីស ឈ្មោះ ឆាំ ដើម្បីស៊ើបរក ខ្មែរក្រហម។ ក្រោយរដ្ឋប្រហា សាមាន នៅបន្ដធ្វើគិញដដែល ហើយចូលបង្កប់ខ្លួនក្នុងជួរបដិវត្ដតាមការចាត់តាំងរបស់សក្ដិ៣ ឆាំ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧១។ ឯសកម្មភាពជាក់ស្ដែងរបស់ សាមាន ក្នុងជួរបដិវត្ដ គីម មិនបានបញ្ជាក់ទេ។
