Britains Foreign Office issued an unusual statement this week " We have never given, and will never give aid of any sort " to the Khmer Rouges " it said on October 8th. The Foreign Office, normally aloof from jobs by press and television had been stung into this denial by a television program that claimed the SAs, a British regiment, had been involved in training the Khmer Rouges.
