The Burapa force closed a border checkpoint yesterday to protect Thai civilians who trade on the black market with Cambodians in Poipet. Burapa battalion commander Charuck Malai ordered border wire and other barricades set up at Klong Prom hade canal between here and Poipet, from which large amounts of black market goods are brought into Thailand.
