Cambodia 's UN seat became vacant yesterday the deadline for accrediting delegations, as the result of a political impasse in the country 's peace process. The vacancy, which does not mean Cambodia is excluded from the world body, steams from as agreement reached by the tripartite resistance and the Vietnamese backed government of Phnom Penh to form a supreme National Council (SNC) as a provisional government.
