Cambodia's Phnom Penh government claimed yesterday to be firmly in control of strategic control Kampong Thom Province despite a series of attacks by Khmer Rouge guerrillas. In a broadcast monitored here Phnom penh radio said that in the first six months of this year government forces killed 391 guerrillas, wounded 178 and cantered 19 in the area.
