The KR has rejected an Australian plan to cut Cambodia under temporary UN administration pending general elections. Australian envoy Micheal Costello discussed the proposal with KR leader Khieu Samphan in Bangkok on January 4, before leaving for Hanoi and Phnom Penh to promote the peace plan.
