Vietnam and China have resumed discussions on the Cambodian conflict with "some progress" after the first round of negotiations collapsed last month. A Vietnamese diplomat said that the second round of talks took place on August 13 between vice Foreign Minister Tran Quang Co and Chinese Ambassador to Hanoi, Zhang De- Wei followed the preceding dialogue on August 5.
