SPK News Agency reported the arrival in Phnom Penh of Frederico Mayor, Director-General of UNESCO, and his meeting on the 29th with Sihanouk. He was accompanied by John Gunther Dean, the US ambassador in Phnom Penh whose departure in 1975, signaled the end of the US presence, the agency said.
