Pis Chhen's father called Pis and mother called Chhim Uk. Pis Chhen had six siblings who totally died in the Khmer Rouge's regime. In 1977, the Angkar evacuated Pis Chhen to live and work in Kampong Thom province.
ពិស ឆែន មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ ពិស និងម្តាយឈ្មោះ ឈឹម អ៊ុក។ ឆែន មានបងប្អូនចំនួន៦នាក់ តែស្លាប់ទាំងអស់ក្នុងរបបខ្មែរក្រហម។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ អង្គការបានជម្លៀសឆែនឲ្យទៅរស់នៅខេត្តកំពង់ធំ។
