Sokh Lay, alias Sek, male disappeared. Interviewed with his 54-year-old elder sister, Soeung Ly; Lay's father was Sok Soeung, and his mother was Long Khat. Lay has 5 siblings, and he was born in Kanleng Run village, Reay Pay sub-district, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Lay studied until grade 9 [in the old system] Beong Krao primary school. After stopped studying, Lay became a monk for two years. After that, he left a monkhood because there was a coup in 1970. Then, there were many airplanes that bombarded the village; as a result, the villagers stayed in all the time. People in the village dare not only go out, but also they felt angry with Lon Nol regime. It was in 1974 that Lay volunteered to be the KR soldiers through the commune chief, Korn. When he became a KR soldier, Lay was sent to fight with Lon Nol soldier; however, no one knew to which battlefield he was sent. In 1975, Lay visited home for the first time, staying for two nights. While staying home, he told he was a soldier, so he was now assigned by Angkar to farm paddy in Kapp Srav in Phnom Penh. It was since returning to Phnom Penh, Lay has been disappeared until now. His parents kept seeking fortune-tellers, many of whom prophesied that Lay has already passed away while his mother, Ly, during the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979, was designated to farm in rice field; however, it was very difficult because there was only rice gruel to eat, so it's not enough for her. Sometimes, Ly stole bananas to eat, so she would have been in danger if Angkar had known this. In 1977, she saw the Khmer Rouge soldiers captured Cham people [Muslim people] to put in the cart. They then walked these people to be gradually killed like what has been seen that there were many big grave masses.
សុខ ឡាយ ហៅ សេក ភេទប្រុស បាត់ខ្លួន។ ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ សឿង លី អាយុ៥៤ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជា បងស្រី។ ឡាយ មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ សុខ សឿង ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ ឡុង ខាត់ មានបងប្អូន៥នាក់ មាន ស្រុកកំណើតនៅភូមិកនែ្លងរុន ឃុំរាយប៉ាយ ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ឡាយ កាលពីតូចរៀន នៅសាលាបឋមសិក្សា បឹងក្រៅត្រឹមថ្នាកលទី៩ឪចាស់ឱ ពេលឈប់រៀនបានបួសជា ព្រះសង្ឃបានចំនួន ពីរវស្សាទើបសឹកមកវិញ ដោយសារកើត មានរដ្ឋប្រហារនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០។ ក្រោយមកទៀតនៅក្នុង ភូមិមានយន្ដហោះទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកជាច្រើន ធ្វើឱ្យប្រជាជនមិន ហ៊ានចេញទៅរកស៊ីនិងមានគំនិតខឹងនិង របប លន់ នល់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ឡាយ បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដចូលធ្វើជាយោធាខែ្មរក្រហម តាមរយៈប្រធាន ឃុំ ឈ្មោះ កន។ ពេល ឡាយ ចេញទៅធ្វើជា យោធាខែ្មរក្រហមហើយបានត្រឹមថា ឡើងវាយជា មួយទាហាន លន់ នល់ តែមិនបានដឹងថា ឡើងទៅសមរភូមិខាងណាខ្លះទេ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ឃើញ មកលេងផ្ទះបានមួយដងសម្រាប់
បានចំនួនពីរយប់ទេ ហើយបានប្រាប់ថា ធ្វើជាយោធា ឥឡូវអង្គការ ចាត់តាំងឱ្យធ្វើស្រែនៅកប់ស្រូវ ភ្នំពេញ។ ពេលត្រឡប់ទៅវិញ ស្រាប់តែបាត់ដំណឹងរហូតដល់ពេល នេះ បងប្អូនចេះតែដើររកគ្រូទាយមើលដឹងថា ស្លាប់។ រីឯ លី ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ដល់ ៧៩ អង្គការចាត់តាំងឱ្យធ្វើស្រែចម្ការលំបាកវេទនាណាស់ ហូបតែបបររាវៗ មិនបានឆែ្អតទេ ជួនណា លួចផែចេកហូប បើអង្គការទាន់មានគ្រោះ ថ្នាក់ទៀត។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧ ឃើញយោធាខែ្មរក្រហមចាប់ ប្រជាជនចាមដាក់រទេះជាច្រើនយកទៅសម្លាប់ចោលនៅ សន្សើមដួច ឃើញមានរណ្ដៅជាច្រើនធំៗ។ |
