Summary: Chin Hiev, male, is 44 years old and married Liv. Hiev has 3 children [1 girl and 2 boys], and he lives in Prek Liv village, Rorka-A sub-district, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. Hiev's father was Chin Hong, and his mother was Huor. Hiev has 8 siblings [5 boys and 3 girls]. When he was a child, Hiev studied until grade 10 [in the old system] Wat Prek Liv School. After that, Hiev stopped studying because there was a coup in 1970, so teachers dare not come to teach. It was in 1973 that Hiev volunteered to join the revolution as the KR soldier through Mut's political propaganda in order to make people run into the forest to liberate the country. At that that time, when young people in the villages were at the age of 18, they had to serve as soldiers even though they didn't want to. However, their parents didn't want them to carry guns. When he first joined the revolution, Hiev was the village militiaman, and he was then sent to the division in the Northern Zone. After that, he was sent to the battlefield to fight with Lon Nol soldiers. Hiev was in the first division, and chiefs of division were Oeun and Voeun. The first division was later turned to the division 310 instead. Hien went to fight everywhere like Prek Aon Chanh, Prek Kdam and along Pra Sit Mountain until fighting into Phnom Penh on April 17, 1995 at 9:00 am in the morning. At that time, the chiefs of the battalion and regiment shouted to Lon Nol soldiers to drop their guns down, and the KR soldiers told people in Phnom Penh to leave their home for a week until they swept up the enemies in the city. At that time, people left from Phnom to their home village gradually. Many of Lon Nol soldiers dare not fight back with KR soldiers, and KR ordered them to drop the guns down and to come out. After that, the KR soldiers collected the guns and put into the trucks. When people already left to the countryside, there were only KR cadres, soldiers and workers living in Phnom Penh. It was in 1976 to 1977 that the chiefs of the division 310, Oeun and Voeun along with some chiefs of the battalion and regiment were arrested, and they never returned. At that time, Angkar called the division 310 to study in Wat Phnom, telling about the chiefs' plots. After that, the KR soldiers confiscated all weapons, and they were sent to be reeducated in Kapp Srav field. In 1978, Hiev's unit was sent by Angkar to the Vietnamese border next to Memot and Ponhea Krek in order to resist with Vietnamese soldiers who invaded into Kampuchea. However, KR soldiers were defeated, and KR soldiers were scattered and just ran to survive to Thai border. There were many people killed during the war. In 1979, Hiev ran across Mekong River, and it was very difficult because some people have drowned and died. Hiev dropped his gun down and ran back to his home village.
ជិន ហៀវ ភេទប្រុស អាយុ៤៤ឆ្នាំ សព្វថៃ្ងមានប្រពន្ធឈ្មោះ លាវ មានកូនបីនាក់ ស្រី១ប្រុស២ រស់នៅភូមិព្រែកលាវ ឃុំរកាអា ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ ហៀវ មានឪពុកឈ្មោះ ជិន ហុង ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ ហួរ មានបងប្អូន៨នាក់ ប្រុស៥ស្រី៣។ ហៀវ កាលពីតូចរៀននៅសាលាបឋមសិក្សា វត្ដព្រែកលាវ ត្រឹមថ្នាក់ទី១០ឪចាស់ឱ។ ឈប់រៀនដោយសារកើតមាន រដ្ឋប្រហារនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ ដោយសារលោកគ្រូអ្នកគ្រូមិន ហ៊ានមកបង្រៀន។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ហៀវ បានស្ម័គ្រចិត្ដ ជាយោធាខែ្មរ ក្រហមតាមរយៈឈ្មោះ មុត មកឃោសនានយោបាយឱ្យចូលពៃ្រដើម្បីរំដោះជាតិ កាលនោះឱ្យតែ គ្រប់អាយុចូលហើយ បើយើងមិនចង់ចូលក៏មិន កើត ឪពុកម្ដាយមិនចង់ឱ្យកូនទៅកាន់កាំភ្លើងទេ។ ចូល មុនដំបូងធ្វើជាកងឈ្លបភូមិទេ តែក្រោយមកអង្គការបញ្ជូនឱ្យចូលទៅទ័ពតំបន់ ភូមិភាគឧត្ដរ រួចហើយ ចូលសមរភូមិវាយជាមួយទាហាន លន់ នល់។ ហៀវ នៅកងពលទី១ ប្រធានកងពលឈ្មោះ អឿន ឈ្មោះ វឿង ក្រោយមកកងពលទី១ ក្លាយជាកងពល៣១០វិញ។ ហៀវ ដើរវាយចល័តគ្រប់កនែ្លង ដូចជាព្រែកអញ្ចាញ ព្រែក្ដាម វាយតាមភ្នំប្រសិទ្ធសំដៅចូលទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញនៅថៃ្ងទី១៧មេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩ ៧៥ នៅម៉ោង៩ព្រឹក ពេលនោះប្រធានវរសេនាធំ វរសេនាតូចបានស្រែកឱ្យទាហាន លន់ នល់ ដាក់ អាវុធចុះ និងបានប្រាប់ឱ្យប្រជាជនចេញពីផ្ទះសំបែងប្រហែល ជាមួយអាទិត្យសិន ទំរំាបោសសម្អាត ខ្មាំងអស់ពីទីក្រុង។ កាលនោះឃើញប្រជាជននាំគ្នាចេញជាបណ្ដើរៗទៅកាន់ស្រុកកំណើតនៅឯជនបទ។ កាលទាហាន លន់ នល់ ជាច្រើនមិនហ៊ានតដៃជាមួយយោធាខែ្មរក្រហមទេ យោធាខែ្មរក្រហម ស្រែកឱ្យដាក់អាវុធចុះហើយឱ្យដើរចេញទៅក្រៅ កាំភ្លើងពេលនោះយោធាខែ្មរក្រហម នាំគ្នាប្រមូលដាក់ លើរថយន្ដទាំងអស់។ នៅពេល ប្រជាជនចាកចេញអស់ នៅសល់តែកម្មាភិបាលខែ្មរក្រហម យោធានិង កម្មកររស់នៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញតែប៉ុណេ្ណាះ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦៧៧ ប្រធានកងពល៣១០ ឈ្មោះ អឿន ឈ្មោះ វឿង និងប្រធានវរសេនាតូចវរសេនា ធំមួយចំនួន ត្រូវអង្គការចាប់ខ្លួនយកទៅបាត់អស់ ពេល នោះយោធា នៅក្នុងកងពល៣១០ត្រូវអង្គការហៅមករៀនសូត្រនៅវត្ដភ្នំ ប្រាប់ពីផែនការក្បត់របស់មេ ក្រោយមកយោធាទាំងអស់ត្រូវ អង្គការដកអាវុធអស់ហើយបញ្ជូនឱ្យទៅលុតដុំធ្វើស្រែ នៅវាលកប់ស្រូវ។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨ អង្គភាពរបស់ ហៀវ សេ្ទីរតែទាំងអស់អង្គការបញ្ជូនទៅព្រំដែនវៀតណាម ជាប់ ស្រុកមេមត់ ស្រុកពញ្ញាក្រែក ដើម្បីទប់ទល់ជាមួយទាហាន វៀតណាមដែលឈ្លានពានចូលមកប្រទេស កម្ពុជា តែសំណាងអាក្រក់ខាងយោធាខែ្មរក្រហមមិនបានទទួលជ័យជម្នះទេ ត្រូវបាក់ទ័ពរត់សំដៅមក ព្រំដែនថវៃិញ ពេលធ្វើសង្គ្រាមមានមនុស្សស្លាប់និងរបួសច្រើនណាស់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ ហៀវ បាន រត់មកឆ្លងទនេ្លមេគង្គលំបាកវេទនា ណាស់ ខ្លះក៏លុងទឹកស្លាប់បាត់ទៅ ហៀវ សំណាងល្អទម្លាក់កាំភ្លើង ចោល រត់សំដៅមកស្រុកកំណើតតែម្ដង។
