For the second time in her life, Huynth the Thien is fleeing the country of her birth. Aboard a small, palm- thatched wooden boat packed with children and relative, 55- year -old thien is one of a cast of thousands of ethnic Vietnamese escaping by river from an eruption of racist savagery in Cambodia that resurrects haunting images of the country's tortured past.
