A UN investigation into the capture by the Khmer rouge of a Northern border checkpoint has backed charges of Thai involvement with the guerrillas, despite top-level denials from Bangkok . The UN said on Monday that the guerrillas detained 21 of its peacekeepers at gunpoint on Thai territory and in the preserve of Uniformed Thai personnel during Sunday's attack , Reuter reports.
