According to news published on occasions by the UNTAC and its partners, by the Vietnamese aggressors and their puppets, H.E. Mr. Yasushi Akashi and other UNTAC chiefs have stated that the number of registered voters has now exceeded 4 milliions. H.E. Mr. Yasushi Akashi has pointed out that this number represents 90 percent of people having the right to vote.
