In late March, some 600 villagers in Cheung Prey district of Kompong Cham Province- Joined by a group of puppet soldiers, policemen, and militiamen- reportedly carried out a revolt to chase out the yuon (derogatory term for the Vietnamese) and puppets and to attack puppet officials in various localities in the district.
