Chhuon Chhay, alias Ry, male, disappeared. Interviewed with his 69-year-old father, Ho Chhuon, and his mother is Brok Sreang. Chhay had 12 siblings [4 girls + 8 boys], and he was born in Khchao village, Khchao sub-district, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. When he was a child, Chhay studied until grade 10 [in the old system] in Khchao primary school; in addition, he became a monk for three years. He then left the monkhood when the KR soldiers came into the village and abolished religion; thus, there were no monks in the pagodas. It was in 1974 that Chhay was forced by the commune chief to join the revolution. When he first joined the revolution, Chhay was a militiaman in Sor Kang sub-district office. He was then sent to the battlefield to fight with Lon Nol soldiers. In 1975, Chhay visited his home village, bringing a chief of the division with him. After staying for one night, Chhay returned to Phnom Penh. At that time, Chhay didn៌t talk much, and he just asked how his parents and relatives were. And, he said that he was a soldier in Phnom Penh. After that, there was a letter stating that Chhay was sent to the border defense unit in Memot district Kampong Cham province. He was then sent to fight with Vietnamese soldiers, and he stepped on a mine; as a result, he got injured and received a treatment in Kampong Cham province. After that, he was sent to receive the treatment in Phnom Penh. It was since that time that Chhay has been disappeared until now. According to his biography, Chhay was a soldier in the division 310, the battalion 121, and the regiment 12 while Chhuon, during the KR regime from 1975 to 1979, was assigned to work in the handicraft, and there was not enough food to eat; as a result, people had swollen diseases and received a treatment in hospital. Some of these patients didn៌t get a recovery from illness, and some died. At that time, the chief of district was Kan. In 1976-1977, he saw militiamen capture and walk new people in lines to detain O Tra Kuon Office
ឈួន ឆាយ ហៅ រី ភេទប្រុស បាត់ខ្លួន។ ជួបជាមួយឈ្មោះ ហោ ឈួន អាយុ៦៩ឆ្នាំ ត្រូវជា ឪពុក។ ឆាយ មានម្ដាយឈ្មោះ ប្រុក ស្រ៊ាង មានបងប្អូន១២នាក់ ស្រី៤ប្រុស៨ មានស្រុក កំណើត នៅភូមិខេ្ចៅ ឃុំសូរគង ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ កាលពីតូច ឆាយ រៀននៅសាលា បឋមសិក្សាវត្ដខេ្ចៅត្រឹមថ្នាក់ ទី១០ឪចាស់ឱ ហើយធ្លាប់បួសជាព្រះសង្ឃបានចំនួនបីវស្សា។ សឹកមក វិញដោយសាររបបខែ្មរក្រហមចូលមកដល់បំបាត់លោក សង្ឃនិងមិនឱ្យមានសាសនា។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ឆាយ បានចូល បដិវត្ដដោយសារប្រធានឃុំបង្ខំ។ ពេលចូលដំបូងធ្វើជាកងឈ្លប នៅត្រឹមមន្ទីរឃុំសូរគង ក្រោយមកអង្គការបញ្ជូនចូលទៅ សមរភូមិមុខវាយជាមួយទាហាន លន់ នល់។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ឆាយ បានត្រឡប់មកលេងស្រុកកំណើតវិញ ហើយបាននាំ ប្រធានវរៈមកជាមួយសម្រាកបានមួយត្រឡប់ទៅ ភ្នំពេញវិញ កាលនោះ ឆាយ មិនបាននិយាយលេងច្រើនទេ គ្រាន់មកសួរសុខ ទុក្ខបងប្អូនឪពុកម្ដាយ ហើយបានប្រាប់ថា រាល់ថៃ្ងធ្វើការជា យោធានៅភ្នំពេញ។ ក្រោយមកទៀតទទួលសំបុត្រដឹងថា ឆាយ បានទៅខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម ខាងស្រុកមេមត់ ការពារព្រំដែនហើយ ក្រោយមកច្បាំងជាមួយកងទ័ពវៀត ណាម ហើយជាន់មីនត្រូវ របួសមកដេកសម្រាកព្យាបាននៅខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម ក្រោយមកបញ្ជូនមកព្យា បាលនៅភ្នំពេញវិញតាំងពីពេលនោះមកបាត់ដំណឹង រហូតដល់ពេលនេះ។ បើតាមប្រវត្ដិរូប ឆាយ ធ្វើជាយោធា នៅកងពល៣១០ វរសេនាតូច១២១ វរសេនាធំ១២។ រីឯឈ្មោះ ឈួន ជំនាន់ខែ្មរ ក្រហមពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ដល់៧៩ អង្គការចាត់តាំងឱ្យធ្វើការនៅខាងសិប្បកម្មធ្វើជាងផ្ទះ គ្មានអាហារហូប ចុកគ្រប់ គ្រាន់ទេ ធ្វើឱ្យប្រជាជនកើតជំងឺហើមចូលសម្រាកនៅ មន្ទីពេទ្យជាច្រើននាក់ ខ្លះព្យាបាលមិនជា ក៏ស្លាប់ទៅ កាលនោះគណៈស្រុកឈ្មោះ កាន។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦៧៧ ធ្លាប់ឃើញកងឈ្លបចាប់ចង ប្រជាជនថ្មីទាំងខ្សែយកទៅដាក់ មន្ទីរសន្ដិសុខអូរត្រគួន។
