Man Met was imprisoned by the Khmer Rouge for a year because of secretly fleeing to Vietnam. Perhaps in 1979, the Khmer Rouge assigned him to serve as a combatant to fight against Vietnamese soldiers. He now suffers from hemorrhoids, sore neck, and dizziness.
