Dok Yean, 23, was a group chief of office of division 170. Yean was born in Krasaing Torng village, Ponhea Lieng sub-district, Preah Sdech district, Prey Veng province and joined the revolution in 1970 at Preah Sdech district security in 1971, at unit K-93 of region 24 in 1971 with Phuon being a leader. In late 1971, Phuon directed Yean to serve for the Free Khmer movement and as a messenger to contact Sophan at K-92, region 24. In 1975, Visal assigned Yean to infiltrate into air forces unit 502 to take over PhnoM Penh in July 1976.
ដុកយាន អាយុ ២៣ឆ្នាំជាប្រធានក្រុមនៅក្នុងមន្ទីរកងពល ១៧០ កើតនៅភូមិក្រសាំងទង ឃុំពញាលៀង ស្រុកព្រះសេ្ដច ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង ចូលបដិវត្ដនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០ នៅសន្ដិសុខស្រុកព្រះសេ្ដច ដល់ ១៩៧១ នៅអង្គភាព គ-៩៣ របស់តំបន់ ២៤ ឈ្មោះភួនជាអ្នកដឹកនាំ។ ចុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ភួន បានអប់រំដឹកនាំឱ្យយានបំរើចលនាខ្មែរសេរី ហើយឱ្យធ្វើនិរសារឱ្យទាក់ទងទៅឈ្មោះ សុផាន នៅគ-៩២ តំបន់ ២៤ ។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ វិសាល បានចាត់តាំងឱ្យយាន បង្កប់ខ្លួននៅ អង្គភាពអាកាស ៥០២ ដើម្បីធ្វើសកម្មភាពវាយសង្គ្រប់ភ្នំពេញ ខែ៧-១៩៧៦។
