Summary / Abstract :

We understand that Singapore has not had very contacts with the GRUNK since the announcement by the members of Asean of deplomatic recognition of Cambodia on 18 April. The lack of Cambodian response to the Asean statement has caused the government some embarrasment , and has rain forced its determination to await a gesture from GRUNK before making any further moves toward teh establishment of diplomatic relations.
