Summary / Abstract :

Mr. Mardanus said that he was calling on instruction from Jakarta to discussion the Australian attitude to the holding of another MEDSEA ministerial meeting. The Japanese were pressing Indonesia to agree to such a meeting (There had been three recent approaches on the subject) and the other ASEAN countries were looking to Indonesia to provide a lead on the matter.
