Mass rally this morning 11 April for '' La Marche de la concorde nationale'' was mainly devoted to appeals from participants for a republic. Seconds theme of barriers and poster was need to drive Vietnamese communists out of Cambodia. Speaking at rally which was attended by head of state and members of the government. Lon Nol said : "Nous promenttions d' envisager, par tous les moyens, mais toujours dans la legalite, l' establissement du regime republicain au Cambodge conferemement a la volonte du peuple Khmer''. This is interpreted to mean that government is committed to establishing a republic but not now, It may be some months before one is set up.
