Summary / Abstract :

On 05 August, French foreign minster Francois- Poncet called in the Vietnamese Ambassador. A communique issued after this meeting indicated that Fracois-Poncet stressed that all parties should apply the measure on refugees agreed to in Geneva, while respecting the fundamental rights of individuals, and speaking of the moratorium, Francois-poncet emphasised that no Vietnamese should be to leave (if did not want to nor to stay , should they want to leave).
