Please refer to recent telegram on this subject to you from both the Australian embassies in Paris and Phnom Penh, in view of his recent trip to Paris for the ESF meeting, we discussed this with Mr Franks tatu, Cambodia desk officers in the state department on the 3rd December Tatu said that his time had been solimited in Paris that unfortunately, he had been unable to call on Quai d' orsay to discuss Cambodia affairs and, in particular, to talk about the plane for Ambassador Duager.The state department had no additional information on these moves z part from that already reported by Paris and Phnom Penh.
