Chen Sat, chief of state commerce animal raising section, confessed that in October 1974, he indoctrinated Chhaom at Phalla village, Cheung Prey sub-district, Kampong Cham province, to betray the party. Chhaom took responsible for convincing people to rebel against the local and persuading soldiers to flee from their line. In May 1975, Sat re-indoctrinated Chhaom at ministry of State commerce.
ចិន សាត យុទ្ធជនចិញ្ចឹមសត្វពាណិជ្ជកម្មរដ្ឋ បាននិយាថា នៅខែ ១០-១៩៧៤ ពេលនៅភូមិផល្លា សង្កាត់ជើងព្រៃ កំពង់ចាម ចិន សាត បានអប់រំ ឆោម អោយក្បត់បក្ស។ មានភារៈកិច្ចបំផុស ប្រជាជនអោយបះបោរប្រឆាំង មូលដ្ឋាន និងបំផុសយុទ្ធជន អោយរត់ចោលជួរ។ នៅខែ៥-១៩៧៥ សាត បានអប់រំ ឆោម អោយក្បត់លើកទី ២ នៅក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្មរដ្ឋ។
