The Canadian Commissioner smith has reported that before Sihanouk left for Peking he was interviewed by the UK Ambassador on February 11, who gave him Chinese letter regarding the new Geneva conference . Sihanouk told Heppel that 11th Geneva conference was reconvened Cambodia would like to be out of it since only Vietnamese affairs would be discussed and it would be embarrassing for Cambodia to express any views.
