There seems to be further information available in Phnom Penh regarding arrangements for these talks, but when in Bangkok last week I found some skepticism about their prospect of success. It seems to be generally agreed that the Cambodians and in particular Prince Sihanouk would welcome a settlement with Thailand, and the British ambassador in Bangkok assured me that this was also the personal wish of Marsal Sarit.
