There seems to be no further information available in Phnom Penh regarding arrangements for these talks, but their prospects of success. It seems to be generally agreed that the Cambodian and in particular prince Sihanouk would welcome a settlement with Thailand, and the British ambassador in Bangkok assured me that this was also the personal with of Marshal Sarit.
