There has been no public reaction here to Sihanouk's suggestion last month from a Thai-Cambodian non-aggression treaty. However, according to the British embassy, it has been considered by Sarit and cabinet. the defence authorities were reportedly opposed to any sucharangement while there was support for it from the foreign ministry.
