Thanat told me today that at its meeting yesterday cabinet had not repeat not approved the transit of Waggons through Thailand to Cambodia. The view had been taken that to do so would imply acceptance of the statement broadcast by Cambodian Radio that Thailand was obliged to allow transit of the Waggons because of its obligations under the Colombo.
