Summary / Abstract :
|
The trend of the past year toward better relations between Cambodia and North Vietnam may be reversed by renewed contention over several small island in the gulf of Siam to which both countries lay historical claim. Cambodia has reacted strongly to South Vietnam's note delivered earlier this month requesting that Cambodia renounced its claim to the island.
