Iriwin with party including Marshall green was in Phnom Penh from 22 to 24 May. He saw Cheng Heng , Sirik Matakgn foreign minister and the two senior deputy prime minister. (He did not see Lon Nol) According to American ambassador's account of visit, it followed American head of of mission meeting in Philipines and did not have precise purpose apart from observation of Cambodian scene .
