In reply to Mr. Nien's indication that this was the main purpose of his call, Mr. Woodard explained that we did not yet have a ministerial position on how Australia would vote a General Assembly resolution concerning the applications of the two Vietnam for UN membership, but that we expected to received advice from Lima with in the next day or so.
