Summary / Abstract :

During a farewell call, the Khmer Ambassador expressed some frank views about political developments in Cambodia. He did not refer, as he had done in his call on Mr. Anderson, to Michael Richardson's report in the age on April 16 suggesting that the Australian Government's decision to evacuate personnel from Phnom Penh was taken for political as well as security reasons.
