During a farewell call, the Khmer Ambassador asked about Michael Richardson's report in the age on April 16 suggesting that the Australian Government's decision to evacuate dependents and non-essential personnel from Phnom Penh was taken for political as well as security reason: and that Mr. Johnson's return to Cambodia after leave was in doubt.
