He used to be a Secret Agent for the Assembly Representative, Mao Chay, in 1970-1975 in Kien Svay District, Kandal Province. In 1975, he joined the KR revolution as a Security and Interrogation Soldier. He worked as an alleged internal traitor in the KR Army. Angkar arrested him on 6th March 1978.
គាត់ធ្លាប់ធ្វើជាភ្នាក់ងារសម្ងាត់សម្រាប់អ្នកតំណាងកិច្ចប្រជុំ, ម៉ៅ ឆាយ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧០-១៩៧៥ នៅស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ, ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ គាត់បានចូលជាសមជិកបដិវត្ដន៍ខ្មែរក្រហមក្នុងនាមជា សន្ដិសុខ និង ជាអ្នកសួរចម្លើយ។ គាត់បានធ្វើការក្នុងនាមជាជនក្បត់ ផ្ទៃក្នុងកងទ័ពខ្មែរក្រហម។ អង្គការបានចាប់ខ្លួនគាត់នៅថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៨។
