Summary / Abstract :

Contrary to the advice given in our memo 500 of June 23, the delegation of the Sihanouk government-in-exile did in fact meet the Prime Minister during their Colombo visit. Ceylon has indicated, however, that it will a wait the outcome of the Lusaka conference non-aligned before reacting to a request from the delegation for recognition of the government-in-exile.
