I had assumed that the Pakistan government had never withdrawn recognition from Sihanouk, as Sarin Chhak although resident in Cairo, was Cambodian ambassador to this country well in to 1971 at least, and I recalled that Paksitan had challenged the Lon Nol representatives credentials on several occasions at the united Nations.
