Summary / Abstract :
|
Since the announcement of the terms of agreement between the united states and Vietnam China has not been vocal in its supports for Sihanouk, China criticised. The United States for delaying signature, but not raise its voice in such away as might suggest that it was concerned about the obvious failure of the agreement to accommodate Sihanouk and the claims of his government (although opportunities for it to do so, such as banquet in honor of Sihanouk's Birthday, at which Chou En-Lai proposed the toast, have not been lacking.
