Summary / Abstract :

Samo Sir (Deputy Iv, Bakin) told us May 10 that Indonesian were hopeful of a coalition government being formed out of Paris discussions. There was no doubting the strength of the anti-government forces and the weakened position of the government. At the same time, the thought it was recognized in Hanoi that there had to be a solution which the US would accept.
