Mr. Clark said he had noted the news report on the visit by the GRUNK Deputy Foreign Minister, Van Piny, and wondered if this had implication for our attitude towards GRUNK. He was aware that in the past there had been informal and more formal contacts with GRUNK in Peking. I said that the GRUNK visitors were coming at the invitation of the AICD and would visiting state capitals. The way the visit would be handled was under consideration by the minister at present.
