Summary / Abstract :
|
On 2nd May a band of regular troops of the ARVN originally estimated at company strength and later at about 15, crossed the border near Bathu in the Svay Teap district of Svay Reing Province. They are said to have attached and pillaged the local population and then to have clashed twice with Cambodian forces, losing 1 killed and 8 captured.
