Political:
Rumours have been continuing to circulate that general Phao may return from his exile in Swizterland. A special correspondent of Prachatipatai wrote on 12th October that Phao, whom the correspondent had recently so long as sarit was in power and Thailand was not fully democratic. Sarit when asked to comment on the possibility to Phaos's return to be leader of the opposition said that Phao would not be in opposition to him since he (Surit) intended for health reason to step down as soon as as he had brought about the necessary reforms. |
