Summary / Abstract :

In the period of three months since the last of these report (savingram no 16) was written, nothing has taken place of political interest except the few minor items records individually in other message. The political situation has remained substantially unchanged , that is to say Sihanouk's pre-eminence has remained unchallenged, international political life has remained torpid, and whatever activity there has been taken place outside what Cambodian would regard as strictly a political field. In the sense that it has a political bearing on the situation inside the country.
